We are expanding and looking for additional mechanics to join our team!
This is a full-time on-site role where the Bicycle Mechanic will be responsible for repairing bikes, conducting bike services and sales related to components and service .

Duties:

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers providing detailed assessments, and estimate repair costs. Deliver a positive customer experience.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance, drivetrain service (both mechanical and electronic), brake bleeds, wheel truing, and suspension work on a wide range of bikes, including e-bikes.
  • Bike Assembly: Assemble and prepare bikes for sale and display on the showroom floor, ensuring all bikes meet our high standards.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use specialized repair apps for Di2 , AXS and eTap systems and stay updated on the latest bike technologies.
  • Shop Standards: Follow our shop standards and processes in all assembly and repair tasks. Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Operate the cash register, process work orders on our system and manage inventory.
  • Report inventory shortages and supply needs to the Store Manager.
  • Maintain shop cleanliness, including personal and shared workspaces.
  • Explain technical product or service information to customers and assist in selling products and services as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bike Mechanic, minimum of 2 years working with bike repair and maintenance.
  • Passion for cycling and familiarity with high-end bikes (e.g., builds of Shimano 105 or SRAM GX AXS and higher).
  • Bicycle Repair skills and qualifications.
  • Must ride and be engaged in cycling, (MTB, Gravel or MTB).
  • Experience with POS systems such as Lightspeed and Ascend.
  • Dedication and punctuality.
  • Good communication and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Additional qualifications that would be beneficial:

  • Experience with retail.
  • Certification in bicycle mechanics is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation:

  • $20-28/hr depending on experience and skills. Plus commission.
