We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly-organized individual to run the service department in our OKC - May Avenue location. You will get to work with an eclectic mix of road, gravel, mountain bike, and e-bike enthusiasts as well as serving as a gateway to the lifestyle for folks who are new to the business and potentially new to bikes! We will hire a professional mechanic with impeccable standards who will always be friendly and welcoming to Phat Tire Bike Shop customers.

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Writing the majority of service intake in the shop
2. Managing the schedule of work assigned, parts needed, and communication with customers for all work orders
3. Training any additional service staff to best standards and practices
4. Creating and maintaining a culture of excellence and positivity
5. Keeping the service area and work benches clean, efficient, and inviting
6. Creating developmental paths for builders, technicians, and service writers in your market
7. Leveraging vendor relationships for the training needs of the mechanics in the shop
8. Ensuring that we have the right tools in the right places for the right people to complete great service work in an efficient manner
9. Starting discussions with leadership for learning opportunities (clinics, classes, courses) for key service team members with an eye on both staff development and ROI for PTBS
