Description

We are seeking an Electric Bicycle Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our service department. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of electric bicycle mechanics, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and be committed to ensuring customer satisfaction.

We are open to a candidate who would be willing to relocate to Pensacola.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Management
Oversee daily operations of the service department.
Ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance, and optimize workflow.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment.
Ensure KPIs are met across all service department operations.

Customer Service
Engage with customers to understand their service needs and provide recommendations.
Ensure top-quality service and foster lasting customer relationships.
Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Development
Train, supervise, and mentor service technicians.
Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback.
Conduct regular team meetings and ensure ongoing professional development.

Inventory Management
Oversee parts and tools inventory.
Coordinate with suppliers and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Ensure optimal stock levels and manage inventory costs.

Technical Expertise
Stay updated on the latest e-bike technology, tools, and best practices.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and guide technicians when needed.
Work hands-on in the repair and maintenance of electric bicycles when necessary.

Sales and Marketing Support
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote service specials and packages.
Offer insights into market trends and customer needs.
Attend trade shows, workshops, and other events to represent Cycle Joint.

Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience as an electric bicycle service manager.
Minium of 2 years experience with electric bikes.
Minimum of 3 years experience with traditional bikes.
Technical certifications related to bicycle service and repair.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 80+ lbs.
