We are now seeking a bicycle service technician for a full-time position with the opportunity to grow, and displaying the following attributes. Integrity of character with a strong technical knowledge of bike service operations. Courteous with awareness of actions and understanding of the customer experience. Passionate self-starter that seeks to grow their own knowledge of the bicycle industry and skills as a technician. Innovative and comfortable contributing to the improvement of shop operations by openly sharing and accepting new ideas.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Help process service work orders from intake to pick-up capturing customer requests and feedback.

Daily interfacing with customers, giving expert product and service insights tailored to their needs.

Bicycle Assembly and Disassembly

Maintenance and Repair of all types of bicycles, including, road, MTB, hybrid, trikes, recumbents, tandems and e-bikes.

Create a positive customer experience.

Maintain shop sales floor merchandise.

Assist Senior Service Technician with product availability and tracking.

Answering phone and Assist Shoppers in a professional manner.

Share in responsibilities of Opening and Closing shop.

Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work area.

Skills:

Customer Service Excellence.

Ability to work on service orders from intake to pick-up with little to no supervision.

Intermediate to advanced bicycle knowledge, including wheel building, suspension overhauls, and other advanced technical skill techniques.

Able to provide solutions to difficult to solve electro-mechanical problems.

Comfortable navigating websites, email, and social media platforms.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bicycle Service Technician.

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of bicycle electro-mechanical systems.

Stellar track record of customer service skills with ability to communicate effectively.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

4+ years of working in a bicycle shop environment as a service technician.

Associates of Science, Arts.

Military and 2+ years of bicycle technician experience.

United Bicycle Institute Pro-Shop Certification

Shimano, Campagnolo, Sram, etc.…Certifications

e-Bike Certification
