If you take pride in precision and quality, and you're ready to contribute to a company that's committed to doing things "the Jones Bikes way," we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities will include:
- Accurately assemble and adjust complete bikes and build wheels with precision, including using a tension meter. You'll ensure every build reflects the integrity and quality of the Jones Bikes brand.
- Meticulously check your work, complete paperwork correctly, report any discrepancies, and swiftly resolve errors to maintain the highest quality at every step.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and ship bikes and bike parts, preparing orders by pulling materials, packing boxes, and organizing them for delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety procedures regarding lifting and tool use.
- Be ready to wear multiple hats! As a vital part of a small team, you'll assist with additional tasks as business needs evolve.
Experience:
- Shop experience building bike wheels using a tension meter and assembling bikes from the frameset up.
- Understanding how bikes work, why details matter, and you take immense pride in doing things right, not just getting them done.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team, managing your tasks efficiently and accurately.
- You possess excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Flexible, able to multi-task, and consistently bring a positive attitude to your work environment.
- Basic computer skills and are willing to learn new platforms.
- You can regularly perform bending, lifting, and moving, including safely lifting a bicycle (up to 50 pounds) onto and off a rack, and moving boxes and parts throughout our facilities.
- A genuine interest in learning "the Jones Bikes way" of building wheels and bikes and are open to constructive feedback.
